BackgroundThe Royal BAM Group is a successful European construction company active in construction, property, civil engineering as well as in public-private partnerships. BAM occupies a leading position in its home markets of the Netherlands, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Germany. Furthermore, the group realizes construction projects in Switzerland, Denmark and Luxembourg.
ChallengesMost of the construction contracts are tendered for which a bid book has to be drawn up. In a bid book, the offer is described in detail and the cooperation conditions are worked out. It is essential that this document conveys professionalism and accurately reflects the core and brand values of BAM. Therefore, BAM requested that Marvia developed a tool that enables bid and tender managers to quickly and easily create a professional bid book, within BAM’s corporate identity.
- Easily create multipage documents (up to 100 pages) with templates in the brand identity of BAM.
- Automated index and page numbering.
- Possibility to share best practices. Preferably, these documents can be used as a new template.
ResultsWe developed an environment with BAM look and feel. Tender managers log in and can create a professional bid book themselves by using dynamic templates, within the brand identity of BAM. Changes can be made up to a few minutes before the deadline. The admin accounts can easily manage and update the templates.
