Release Notes summer 2026: Flex Templates, DAM updates, and more

Last updated: July 30, 2026

We've been busy this quarter. Flex Templates got several impactful updates, the DAM has a clean new look, and Requests now handles more of what your team was probably managing in email or a separate tool. Here's everything new in Q2.

Flex Templates

This quarter we continued building out Flex Templates with updates that make it easier for admins to get templates out faster and local teams more ways to customize content on their own.

  • PDF/AI upload
Upload a PDF or Adobe Illustrator file to create a template instead of starting from scratch. If your creative team already has assets built out, you can bring them directly into Flex Templates without rebuilding from the ground up.

  • Print-ready support
Create print-ready files with CMYK color mode and PDF/X-4 format. Materials exported from Flex Templates will meet professional print standards, with no extra steps before sending to your print supplier.

  • Page spreads
Create two-page layouts that appear side-by-side, like an open book or magazine. Useful for brochures, lookbooks, or any print format where the design spans across a fold.

  • QR codes
Generate QR codes directly within a template. With DNA support enabled in the Admin, each location can get a QR code that links to their own URL automatically.

  • User page management
When enabled in the Admin, users can add, duplicate, and remove pages through the pages drawer. Local teams get more flexibility to adapt templates to their needs without looping in the central team for every change.

  • Layouts
Save a layout to reuse on new pages within the same template. Once you've set up a structure you like, you can apply it to additional pages without rebuilding it each time.

Digital Asset Management

The DAM got two updates this quarter: a cleaner design and a faster way to work with multiple files at once.

  • Refreshed design
The DAM has a cleaner look and updated navigation. It's easier to navigate and find what you need.

  • Download list
You can now select multiple assets at once and download them as a zip file or email them to yourself or colleagues. This is especially useful when you need to pull together a set of files for a campaign or share assets with a partner.

Requests

We made two updates that let you handle more types of requests directly in Marvia, without bouncing back and forth in email or a separate project management tool.

  • Co-requesters Marvia co-requestersAdd co-requesters to a workflow so they also receive email notifications and can approve requests. When multiple people need visibility or sign-off on the same request, everyone stays in the loop without workarounds.

  • Multi-select form fields
Create form fields that allow multiple selections. If a single-choice field wasn't capturing what you needed, this gives you a more flexible way to collect the right information upfront.

Organic Posts

Users can now schedule organic posts to Instagram and LinkedIn, so they can plan social content across more platforms in advance instead of posting immediately. And those posts show up on the Monthly Marketing Calendar alongside everything else, so all planned marketing activity appears in one place.

These are the major improvements we made to the platform in Q2. Each feature makes managing distributed marketing campaigns more efficient and gives you more control over your multi-location marketing.
