Social Campaigns 📱
Exciting news! This quarter, we've introduced a new module to our platform: Social Campaigns. Say goodbye to the manual management of organic and paid campaigns across various locations. Template features 🖼️
Templates on our platform have received multiple exciting updates:
-
Media Variables
Both media and text variables
are now sorted on the same page in the Template Studio, allowing admins to easily change the order of media variables between text variables for users. With this update, users can now, more quickly, understand how to fill in templates by following the template's natural flow.
-
Color
Our system now automatically applies color profiles from InDesign, such as RGB and PANTONE. For documents intended for the web, the system defaults to RGB color. If ‘PDF/X-1’ is chosen, CMYK is enforced. In other cases, the system uses the color settings from InDesign.
-
Secure PDF
Admins can now utilize a new Secure PDF feature within the print presets of the Template Studio. This enhancement allows for the password protection of exported PDFs, safeguarding them against unauthorized modifications in Adobe Acrobat or similar software. By securing your final marketing materials, this feature helps maintain brand consistency. It is accessible for all print presets, except for 'PDF/X' presets.
-
Preview Resolution
We have introduced a feature to adjust preview resolution within the Template Studio. This improvement enables users to enhance the preview quality, facilitating easier review and approval of final outputs. It is particularly beneficial for examining text in smaller templates, such as business cards.
-
Length Unit
You can now switch the unit of measurement for template dimensions and bleed settings in the Platform settings. Just choose between millimeters and inches based on your preferred workflow.
-
Tooltip
We added an explanation tooltip to the image adjustments buttons. This helps users understand what each image adjustment button exactly does, helping new users make more confident edits without the need for much trial and error, and onboard them faster.
-
Interactive PDFs
Finally, you have the ability to embed hyperlinks directly into text and image variables within your templates. Additionally, you can enable this feature for user input. This creates new opportunities for connecting to external resources, local pages, or supplementary information.
Short Updates
Admin Design 🎨
The design of our Admin has been refined to maximize space efficiency and elevate user experience. This enhancement allows for a more seamless navigation within the Admin portal, such as when accessing the Settings from the side menu.
Workflow Location Approvers 🧑💼
Approvers without administrator roles are now automatically given limited access, just enough to manage their assigned workflows. This update allows the admins to assign approvers without needing to manually give admin rights.
Reservation Pickup 🔔
Reservation products can now have a convenient pickup option. This allows users to choose between delivery or pickup of their reserved materials, providing greater flexibility and potential cost savings.
That concludes the Spring Release Notes! These notes summarize the most important changes made to our platform over the past three months. For a comprehensive list of new features, updates, and bug fixes, refer to our Changelog.
